With TV Time shutting down on July 15, 2026 and permanently deleting every account, Hobi, the independent TV show and movie tracker with more than 10 million downloads, today launched a free, direct TV Time importer, a migration tool that preserves users' watch history ahead of the shutdown. Users upload the official TV Time export file (the GDPR ZIP) as is, and Hobi automatically matches their shows and movies and transfers their viewing history, watchlist, episode tracking data and ratings in one step.
Hobi is the official migration partner for TV Time users. Unlike most migration tools rushed out this month, Hobi's import preserves users' ratings, the reactions and scores accumulated over years of tracking, alongside complete watch history, watchlists and movies. Several popular importers transfer watch history only, silently dropping the ratings and movie data that longtime users care about most.

The import accepts the official TV Time GDPR export, and saved export files continue to work after the shutdown, so users who secure their data before July 15 can migrate whenever they are ready. Users who have not yet exported should do so now at gdpr.tvtime.com/gdpr/self-service, before the portal goes offline with the rest of the service.
